Our History
Phala Engineering Services was formed in March 1996 but only started trading in 2011. Phala Engineering’s (PE) business is to supply the mining, power generation, water supply industries, and general engineering companies locally and in the region with high-quality engineering products and add value to the industrial value chain. The products will be sourced from regional and international original equipment manufacturers (OEM). The company has a combined experience of its key staff of more than 50 years in engineering. Phala Engineering has its premises comprising of offices and a 450m2 factory shell just off the A1 highway near the Department of Transport offices in Palapye.

Phala Engineering is owned Kgabung T Tlale who is the sole director and a Botswana national with 100% shareholding.
Kgabung Tlale has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineer and has over 20 years’ experience in power generation and 5 years’ experience in vehicle assembly and maintenance. He attained hands-on experience in power stations and has attended numerous local and overseas courses on power plant maintenance. He also attended courses on management and leadership, inter alia. He has also acquired Masters in Business Administration (MBA) through Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA) based in Durban RSA
